Sonador means Dreamer.  This horse farm was built on just that:  A Dream.  It was a dream of a young girl that blossomed into a reality to own and provide an exceptional home for horses, provide an environment for people and families to enjoy their animals, and a place where people who want to learn and experience the equine setting can do so.  A place where dreams can come true!

My children share in my dream, which makes this endeavor even more special.  Horses are amazing, beautiful, graceful and healing creatures. I welcome you to come visit and see what an amazing place Sonador Horse Farm is.

Dream ~ Believe ~Experience

My name is Allison Rowland. I had the opportunity to be involved with horses in various capacities for over 30 years. I started my love for riding in Colorado Springs, Colorado, showing in local and state 4H equine shows in various disciplines including western pleasure, horsemanship, reining, barrel racing, English pleasure and equitation. At the age of 12, I became part of the horse precision riding team, The Pikes Peak Rangerette's, with a purpose to promote horsemanship, sportsmanship, and citizenship as well as promote the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, which supports our Veterans. In high school, I was Captain of the 4H Horse Knowledge Bowl Team and Grand Champion at the Texas State 4H Roundup in 1996. In college, I joined the Texas Tech Equestrian Team, earning a spot at the National Collegiate competition in Massachusetts and placing fifth in Horsemanship. I was also a member of the Texas Tech Horse Polo Team and Texas Tech Rodeo Team.  When not at the farm,  I am a NICU/Pediatric pharmacist at St David's, and while passionate helping children, creating a horse boarding establishment has always been my dream.
